Green growth strategy for Karnataka

 Green growth strategy for Karnataka GGGI in conjunction with a consortium of partners, including the Bangalore Climate Change Initiative – Karnataka (BCCI-K), produced a green growth strategy for the state of Karnataka. Development of the strategy included using sophisticated analytical tools and models and sectoral analysis in energy, agriculture, forestry, and water. The strategy arrived at a prioritized set of green growth interventions that include transportation, renewable energy, sustainable land-use planning, and agro-forestry. The report also contains case studies on on electric vehicles, harnessing waste heat recovery for power generation, scaling up grid-connected solar, renewing wind energy, and micro irrigation.
