Order of the Uttarakhand High Court on steps taken by the state of Uttarakhand to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

The HC said that a letter was received from an advocate (Aditya Pratap Singh), wherein he mentioned that oxygen concentrators were not classified as an essential commodity. He also pointed out that private laboratories are charging exorbitant fees for carrying out CT scan and that Uttarakhand should cap the fees being charged by the private laboratories. The petitioner also said that RT-PCR test results were being forged in order to circumvent the Standard Operating Procedures issued by the Union of India and the state government.

The counsel for the state sought two weeks time to file a report on the above mentioned matters.
