Groundwater pollution due to pond encroachment
Encroachment and pollution of a pond in village Khuriavali, Khurja, district Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh has resulted in the pollution of groundwater, said the application filed before the NGT by Hari Prasad Sharma.

The tribunal taking into consideration the issue directed the District Magistrate, Bulandshahr to look into the matter and take remedial action in accordance with law.
