Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Narender Kumar Vs State of Haryana & Others dated 14/05/2025.
In the application, the applicant said that for developing the dumping yard on panchayat owned land in village Pirthla, district Palwal, Haryana permission was granted for cutting of 43 trees only but as against this 68 trees have been cut. Counsel for the applicant referred to the report of the Sub-Divisional office/Magistrate office, Palwal which revealed that 25 trees were additionally cut without permission.
The NGT directed notice to be issued to the respondents which included Haryana State Pollution Control Board; Deputy Commissioner Palwal; Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Palwal among others. The next hearing of the case would be held on September 18, 2025.
