Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Tribunal On Its Own Motion Vs. State of Uttarakhand dated 12/03/2018 regarding disregard of environmental laws and pollution norms by industries located in ELDECO SIDCUL Industrial Park, Tehsil Sitarganj, District Udhan Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.
NGT directs Uttarakhand PCB to conduct inspection of the industrial units near and around the Village of Siddh Garbyang Kalyan Sewa Samiti to identify the industries which are discharging untreated effluents and causing air and groundwater pollution and whether these industries are complying with the conditions of Environment Clearance granted to them.
