Sikkim Biodiversity Action Plan 2012

Forest, Environment and Wildlife Management Department of the State Government has formulated the Sikkim Biodiversity Action Plan with the objective of preserving the State’s natural and cultural heritage. The unique biodiversity of the State is well known throughout the world due to the long history of scientific inquiry pertaining to its biodiversity. This booklet reflects the action needed on the part of all stakeholders to conserve the biodiversity of Sikkim. It is also aimed to generate awareness about each one’s role to protect and conserve our natural resources.
