E-waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2011
Whereas, the draft rules, namely the e-waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2010 were published by the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests vide number S. O. 1125 (E), dated 14th May, 2010 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated 14th May, 2010 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of the period of sixty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public. These rules may be called the E-waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2011.
