Question raised in Rajya Sabha on Electrification of Villages, 12/12/2016. Government of India has launched Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) for various works related to rural electrification. The erstwhile Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) stands subsumed in DDUGJY as Rural Electrification (RE) component. The State-wise subsidy disbursed during the last three years is given at Annexure.
