Union of India & Others dated 24/10/2018 regarding illegal sand mining in Yamuna River bed in the State of Uttar Pradesh. National Green Tribunal directs the States of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to take note of the case and assessment of damages to be done and report to be submitted to the Tribunal.
