Noida Development Authority proposes to encroach the Yamuna flood plain The CSE news report on proposal of Noida Development Authority to construct multi storey buildings on a site that is part of the Yamuna flood plain and is defined as agricultural land. It is feared that, this will reduce groundwater recharge & also disturb biodiversity of the Okhla bird sanctuary.
