TVNL sets record in power production

Ranchi, Jan. 2: There’s good news for the state on the power front.

Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited (TVNL), the state’s premier thermal power generating unit, declared that it had recorded the highest ever production of 279.98 million units in December 2008 with an efficiency or a plant load factor (PLF) of 89.6 per cent.
