Walkability and pedestrian facilities in Asian cities: state and issues

This study provides information on the current pedestrian infrastructure in selected cities that can be used to develop and propose pedestrian-focused solutions for Asian cities. It includes
results of field walkability surveys and pedestrian interviews, as well as an assessment of the current policies and institutions relating to pedestrians and walking environments in 13 Asian cities. It also recommends solutions involving various stakeholders who should play a role in developing policies and projects that are focused on improving the walkability of Asian cities.
