Villagers oppose land acquisition, Pavana river pipeline project hurt

Pune The Rs 398 crore-pipeline project of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municiapal Corporation (PCMC) from the Pavana dam to Nigdi is facing opposition from villagers over land acquisition. The project was supposed to be completed in two years after its bhoomipoojan, which had taken place on May 1, 2008.

Pimpri civic body gets 57 acres more for waste processing

Residents question move to widen road in forest area
